Do you take Purchase Orders?

We do not take purchase orders, as we are a credit card only site. If you already have an open account with The HON Company, you may contact them through normal channels to place a PO. If you do not have a HON account, you will need to contact your local HON dealer to place an order by PO.

Where is my key number?

You can only find the replacement key code on the face of the lock. HON key codes are usually 3 digits with a letter before or after the numbers; i.e. 123E.  If you are looking for a key code ending with "R", the "E" key is now the current substitute, i.e., if looking for a 123R, you will order 123E.  If there is no letter with the numbers, please contact Customer Support at 1-800-833-3964 Option 6 for further assistance.

Where do I find a new lock?

We offer three HON lock core replacement kits. HF24 for HON vertical files. HF23BX (Black) Laminate/Veneer Wood Casegoods and HF23CX (Chrome) Metal Casegoods, will fit lateral files, storage cabinets, pedestals, desks and overhead cabinets.

Can I get locks keyed the same?

Our lock kits ordered on the website come randomly keyed, but you can order multiple locks with the same key codes by contacting Customer Support at 1-800-833-3964 Option 6.

I ordered a key and haven't received it?

We use two shipping carriers, United States Postal Service (USPS) and FedEx. USPS Key Standard Shipping and USPS First Class Package DO NOT offer tracking. USPS Priority Mail, FedEx Ground, offer tracking numbers. USPS shipments usually take 4 - 6 business days to arrive.  All key orders ship out of Iowa.

What are my shipping options?

USPS Key standard shipping (1-4 keys) is $3.50, USPS First Class Package, USPS Priority Mail, FedEx Ground, FedEx 2nd Day and FedEx Standard Overnight. All will have tracking available for your shipment. All orders ship out of Iowa.

When will my order ship?

All key orders will be sent the next business day. Expedited accessory orders confirmed prior to 3 PM Eastern Time will be processed on the same day ordered. Accessory orders processed after 3 PM Eastern Time will be sent the next business day. Weekend delivery NOT available. (Please note that USPS delivery times are ESTIMATES and are not guaranteed by USPS).

Will I be charged sales tax?

Sales tax is calculated based upon your delivery address and our requirement to collect sales tax for your ship to location.  Please see below or contact Customer Support at 1-800-833-3964 Option 7 to be set up as tax exempt.
