Your purchases from HONAccessories.com will be taxed using the applicable sales tax rate for your shipping address. The sales tax amount will be displayed when orders are placed, and will appear on your confirmation/receipt. HONAccessories.com does not collect sales taxes in all states. For states imposing sales or use taxes, your purchase may be subject to use tax unless it is specifically exempt from taxation. Your purchase is not exempt merely because it is made over the Internet or by other remote means. Many states require purchasers to file a sales/use tax return at the end of the year reporting all of the taxable purchases that were not taxed and to pay tax on those purchases. Details of how to report these taxes may be found at the websites of your respective taxing authorities.
To be set up as tax exempt, first create an account, which is located in the upper right corner of our website home page. Then email your tax exempt certificate to email@example.com. Once we receive the certificate we will mark your account as tax exempt and let you know when it is okay to order, and then taxes will not be charged. Tax exempt entities do not have to provide documentation for orders shipping to states that do not have sales tax (AK, DE, MT, NH, OR). Please contact Customer Support at 1-800-314-0380 if you have any questions.
